Tailored Chic

January 29, 2014

The search for the perfect tailored dress is often a long one. Hunting endlessly through reams of clothes that just aren't cut right, don't sit right and just don't feel right. With fashion houses debuting collections with intricate tailoring at the heart of their inspiration this season, we couldn't help but bring you our wearable take on the trend.
For Couture 2014, Chanel bought us a myriad of dresses and separates carefully structured - delicately placed tucks and pleats made for a great collection. Visible zips were a subtle recurring feature.
In keeping with high fashion trends, our Linda dress ticks all the boxes, whilst being functional and work appropriate. The bodice features tuck and panelling details, a subtle feature to give a high fashion feel. Linda is an appropriate length and features three quarter length sleeves to cover up any insecurities and is in a light stretch fabric to keep you comfortable throughout the day. An exposed zip helps to create the perfect finishing accent to the perfect dress for work.
