Describe your job in a few lines?

I am the Managing Director of the company Mytights.com. Day-to-day, my job varies from developing
and executing the company strategy, to managing the team, as well as all the buying.

What’s been the highlight of your career so far?

Building the company from scratch and seeing it succeed over the years. Additionally, the variety of stock
that we offer and appearing in a number of magazines and in the press all adds to and reflects the success
we have had since 2000.

What piece of career advice would you give to your 20yr old self?

Anything is possible – just go for it. No matter what you do, you will constantly be learning. Take advantage of
this, and learn from others around you. Building a supportive network around you is key, so make use of meeting
new people.

Whose style do you admire the most?

My friend Lotta. She looks amazing and elegant wherever she is, whatever the occasion – often from the smallest
suitcase you have ever seen – I don’t know anyone else who can look chic and elegant whilst backpacking.

What been your worst office fashion faux pas?

Ladders in tights!!! Luckily the stock room is too hand….

Should office wear be fashionable or functional?

It should be a combination. There is no reason why you should sacrifice one for the other. I would not go for
cutting edge fashion that I can’t wear the following year. I have dresses that I have been wearing for 10 or more years.
